After the engine has warmed up, riders can restart the snowmobile with the push of a handlebar-mounted button. This function adds less than one kilogram to the sled's weight, preserving its nimbleness while offering convenience. Additionally, the sled includes a rear snow flap that aids with tunnel cooling by directing snow spray back into the tunnel area.

BRP's proprietary LinQ system is also compatible with the BoonDocker, giving riders over 200 accessory options.
